Hiding files on the dx

Any 1 know how to hide files on the DX or is there an app? On blackberry it was easy but Im having no luck on the DX. Help!

make a folder on your sdcard (download astro to do this) and put a . in front of the folders name to make it hidden from the rest of the system

Can't do this from windows explorer (on Windows7), it won't allow you to create a file with only and extension. Yuk

you have to do it on the phone itself. you will need a file browser installed.
