Ill make this short. I have the Razr M. I am rooted. How can I hide the soft keys so that I can make full use of the screen?

Thanks

Is that something that only a Rom can do or can I get into the system settings to do it?

Hide Nav Bar

Hello everybody!

So I have been looking around the internet for about half an hour now for a solution to this. I have a Nexus 4 and I just installed LMT and really like the fullscreen thing. After running into countless unhelpful threads about hiding the softkeys, I came across this: 【DoubleX】make yourGN fullscreen apk!【support4.1】 - xda-developers

It worked!!! It worked perfectly! (at least it worked perfectly on my Nexus 4). It hides the nav bar without hiding the notification bar!!!

^^^^^ CAREFUL with this one... Must be Rooted and make sure to have a Recent Backup of everything. While it worked for me on my Razr Maxx HD had some Systems UI issues. Did not work well for me.:frown:

So that app or editing build.prop (which is what that app does) causes systemui.apk to force close, on a stock based ROM (still trying to figure out how to get framework-res.apk to recompile). However it works great on CM10!

Add
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
to the bottom of your build.prop

From the RAZR M

Sorry! I forgot to mention that I'm running CM10.1 on my N4 :)

I love how now I can use the whole screen!!! :)
