I just bought my first smartphone, the Droid X last week. Never used a smartphone before and not sure what i'm doing.

One thing is I was playing around and accidentaly put the weather that's on the home page into the trash can. Is there any way of retrieving it? I'm sure i'll have many other questions in the future. Thanks for any help, useful hints you can give me.

Welcome, glad to have you. If you long press on any screenyou will get a pop-up. Select Motorola widgets and you should see the weather widget at the bottom.
