First I would like to thank MotoCache1 for his great post on rooting the Droid1. ( http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-labs/74028-root-droid-1-regardless-os-version.html) I read through it twice and it worked perfectly for me the first try.

NextI want to uninstall all the bloatware (amazon mp3) and then find the right wi-fi hotspot apk so that verizon only sees the data coming from my phone and not the other devices connected to it.

:welcome: to the forum. To delete the bloat, get a file manager from the market. Then open the file manager & go to System/app or Data/app. The bloat will be there, then just delete it.
