Just got droid razr yesterday, had iphone 4. I can receive texts from all iphone users but one. She's on att! I deleted everything from my iphone and disabled messages too. Still not working, what should I do???

You disabled messages on the iphone or the razr? I'm not quite following you here..
.try pressing and holding volume down and your power button, it will take a screen shot at first, but keep holding them down, the phone will shut off then you release the buttons and it will restart.

Also, make sure your friend has the right number... if you're able to receive texts from everyone else... perhaps its your friend not sending them correctly... this seems more likely than you not being able to receive messages from only one person...

I disabled everything from the iphone. The other person (my mother in law) has my number right that hasn't changed in years. I have reset my phone and deleted her and added her back (razr)

Hate to say it but I'm more confused now than I was with the first post.

We need a clearer picture of what you're dealing with before we can begin to troubleshoot.

If your phone is the RAZR as it seems, and it's receiving texts properly from other phones but not from one specific iPhone (I think it's your Mother-in-law), the problem is definitely not with the RAZR. Deleting and re-adding the iPhone user to your contacts on the RAZR will neither prevent nor enable text messages from that iPhone.

Anyone can send text messages to anyone else and the messages are not incompatible from one type of decide to another by design. Text messaging was intended to be universally compatible between all variety of phone devices.

Check yor mil phone make sure that she is not set to default mms or other type of txt msg.. Have her physically set to sms. I had issue with i phone users texts as well at one point. Everything sent was a file not straight msg..

I agree with epiphone, it sounds most likely to do with her iPhone settings. My friend had the same problem sending texts when she got her iPhone. Changed something in her settings and it was fixed. The other possibility is that somehow you have her number blocked for messages but I am not sure if the stock messaging app has blocking ability.
