Im assuming you're using gmail. If so, just click the menu button, then 'go to label's and scroll down to drafts.

If it was an exchange email then go to your inbox and in the top right corner there should be a "1" over where the "+"sign is to create a new email.....select that and you will.be given an option to go to your draft or create a new email.....

any news on this

i had the same issue yet my draft was not saved in the normal spot at the green plus sign in the upper right corner.
So i had worked on an email for some ime whe batter went low and i plugged it in. the phone beeped as it always does yet it then went back to the screen showing the three email accounts i have. i went back to my POP email i was working in and the plus no longer had my message showing as a draft. i of corse looked every where i could think to find it.

any ideas?

This is a four hour email i dont want to recreate if possible..:icon_evil:

Take a look at the email account to see if the mail client synced it with the server. You might be able to find usually in popmail>drafts on a computer browser.
If not try to download a mail client from the market and add this mail id. Wait for sometime to see if the drafts gets synced to the device from the server.

I did try and see if it got synchronized to my POP server. Nothing there.
I believe it is on the phone but not sure how to access it.
Why I think its on the phone?
Because I don't use gmail and suddenly have a draft in the draft box but when I try and open gmail draft box it shows empty.
So does any one know how I might gain shell access to the android file system?
I want to probe into some folders to see if I can find it.
I assume it is there just broken some how..

I have noticed that I have been writing a txt before, received a call, thought I lost the text and when I hit quick compose new text, my previous txt that I was working on reappeared. Did you try just creating a new email to see if the old one you were working on would come back?

Thanks, i did try just simply re-replying and also just creating a new email. nothing there.
As i search through the net i find hundreds of ppl with this problem.
I want to create a solution yet cant find the email file system for the life of me?

It seems that it is a good recomendation to use a diffent email client app on the phone that has a presistant connection to the server inorder to sync drafts.
The stock email client on the phone does not sync drafts or any other content it seems.
As i look around it seems that when you save a draft it is just kept in the cache. cache doesnt make any atemp to save the draft to memory in the event you get a call or battery goes low. so its lost..:icon_ devil:
