Help!

I rooted my x with z4root & have titanium backup (rooted to get rid of bloat) & my text notification isn't working all of a sudden. I checked the settings & they're good. Someone at vzw suggested maybe is a problem with an app (this started mon, haven't installed a new app in at least a week). They suggested I install lookout....I've read before that you shouldn't install any anti virus stuff & with superuser I'm not sure if it would work anyway. Any suggestions?

Hi there. Do me a favor. Go to settings/applications/manage applications and select the "all" tab. Then scroll all the way down to "text messages", open it and wipe data. Give that a shot.

And I personally don't think anti virus is necessary. I don't need or use one. Anti virus and advanced taskillers aren't needed.
