help with updating my friend's dx

Hi all. Several months back, I rooted and flashed the very first leak of 2.2 on my friends DX and haven't done anything else to that phone since. Recently, he flashed Liberty 1.5 and now can't play any type of media. I figured this is probably due to outdated software since he hasn't been able to receive any OTA updates. I'm confused on where to go from here.

He has bootloader 30.01 with which, to my understanding, we won't be able to SBF or MADERSTCOK "SBF". Any suggestions?

He probably needs to sbf back to stock. When he does that he will have the latest update installed.

I don't have a link to give you on this for the X, although if you look in the hacking section there might be something there. Last I heard Motorola put a C&D on sbf to another website and we decided it would be in our best interest not to offer them. Nobody has told me anything different.

You might want to look over at XDA developers web site and see if they have something if we don't.
