Help with selling a samsung aspire on ebay

My son has a samsung aspire and an HTC phone through AT&t. He did not fulfill his contract. Can he still sell those phones on ebay? Thanks for the help..

I would say no, as, technically, until the contract is fulfilled, the phones are "owned" by the carrier. He could buy out the contract (pay the early termination penalties) and then he'd own them.

Those are the pitfalls of getting $6-700 phones for $100 or less due to the subsidized costs with contracts.
