help was trying to backup rom

was trying to backup rom
with latest Rom manager and installed CWM recovery 4.0.1.4
I got an error while backing up boot image .
Now i have options which 1 do i click on

reboot system now
apply update from sdcard
wipe data/ factory reset
wipe cache partition
install zip from sdcard
backup and restore
mounts and storage
advanced
power off
Go Back

which do i click on ???????

How do i backup my Rom / through Rom Manager ??
Do i flash Clockworkmod recovery ??
Or do i dnld CWM on market ?
when i open Rom Manager its ask if i wanted to install CWM which i did . Where is it ???

Sorry i been reading n watchin you tube but still confused...

Make sure you have USB debugging enabled. I think you need that checked, as well.

The only time I've had this problem was do to running out of space on SD card. Make sure you have space for the backup file.

You can't backup with Rom Manager..technically. What you are doing is using the GUI interface of Rom Manager to initiate the Clockworkmod recovery back up/process.

Rom Manager is just a GUI, automated process for downloading ROMs, starting backups, starting ROM installs, etc... It uses Clockworkmod Recovery to do all the processes (install a ROM, make a backup, restore, etc...). It's why Rom Manager says you "need to install clockworkmod recovery" when you try to use it.

clockworkmod recovery is the replacement recovery you can boot to instead of the stock recovery boot image. Rom Manager (if used) will let you click on "Backup my Rom", give it a name and then will reboot the phone into clockworkmod recovery and run the backup routine using the name you gave it in Rom Manager.
