Help sending unsent email

hey guys, I just got the Droid 2 yesterday, upgraded from the regular droid. I sent an email today an hour or so ago, it's still in the outbox and failed to send. I can not remember what I said in it and it's pretty important..so I can't delete it. I tried refreshing multiple times..and I shut my phone off and took the battery out..and it's still there. what can I do?

Is this a gmail account or other e-mail account. I once had a non-gmail account that would only send if I was on wifi, not data. Could you connect to wifi and try again to send? Gmail works fine on data or wifi.

I just had this issue with my DX. Try this. Maybe it'll help?

Open the e-mail app, then go to the "draft"..there should be a red icon in the top right above, click it to resend the e-mail...see if that does the trick...
