Help root bionic

Hello everyone, need some information on rooting my bionic. I got this phone two weeks ago and I'm not sure what method to use. Im running 5.5 893.
From what i have been reading, I feel like Im in the middle of trial and error. Can anybody help me get rooted with a sure known method. I really don't want to brick my phone, I just want to take care of some bloatware and try some roms out. Thanks

I recently rooted my never rooted 5.5.893 Bionic using this method [How To] Root (or re-root) after 5.5.893. It worked the first time through. I had first tried using the r3l3as3droot and 43v3r root for bionic v2.1. It failed. In fact the developer of the r3l3as3droot recently posted that his method did not work with the 5.5.893 version.

If your for sure on 5.5.893, you can root using R3L3ASEDtool, should work with no errors. To be safe, when I did it, I used the tool to go to stock .886, then installed forever root then received the update, not sure it should make a difference though.
