Help restoring data from waterlogged phone

I dropped my Huawei P9 phone in water and now it wont switch on. I transferred the sim card to a new phone however i found that a lot of pictures, contacts, messages etc are on the old huawei phone and not on the sim card. Is there anyway i can extract all of these things from the huawei phone. When i try to switch it on it doesnt come on the screen just stays black

If you previously connected to a computer you can try to connect again to see if you can view folders internally ..

Previously when i connected it to the computer it would charge but now when i connect it nothing happens and i cannot access anything

HMMM ...I'm not sure if anything can do other than take it to authorized repair shop hopefully they can fix or help. Also possible phone might be up after letting sit a bit for a day or so ...

Its been over a week now since the incident
