ok i need help well when im on the phone and talk to some1 and i get a txt it beeps and the other person can here it and its really annoying is there anyway to turn that off??

lol yah like i talk to my girl and she knos my phone like she know tha txt beeps dont ask me how lol but ya so i would talk to her and she would get mad like u have a txt who txtin you i would to just turn that off so i dont have to here it cuz its really annoying lol and it scares me too lol

1, you could turn off notifications for your text messing app. 2, I haven't noticed it since I installed handcent text messaging app. Remember, you cannot uninstall the original texting application but you can turn off notifications for it. Also you can assign individual ringtones for text message friends.

In sounds there is a setting for what happens when you are on a call and get a text. Turn off the beep and turn it to vibrate. You can also just have it not notify you during a call.

Handcent. Settings. Notification. Notification settings. Bottom of the menu. Don't think it is an option stock.

Handcent. It is a good replacement for stock. Makes you text environment customizable. It's free in the market. Just make sure to turn off txt notifications from the stock app as well if you go to the app. It will give two text received notifiers if you don't
