Help please with slideshow!!!!

I activated the slideshow for my eris and decided it was using too much battery so i decided to shut it off.

Only problem is, it shut off according to the phone but the background still alternates like its on.

So I'm here to ask if anyone knows how to shut this thing off for good, i just want one picture not a whole bunch!!!

Any suggestions or idea's would be appreciated!!!

Dumb question, but did you try a reboot? Wallpapers can be "sticky" sometimes.
