Ok here is the problem. Currently I use my droid x to connect through my facebook account. This puts all of my facebook friends in my contacts as you probably know. When I sync my contacts with google it does not sync the info from my facebook friends. Then I flash to liberty and on liberty I am not able to add a facebook account and it will not allow me to get all my contacts back. Can anyone please help me? This is urgent.

you should still be able to sync your facebook contacts. i think it's done through the app.

when you go in to the app and go to settings and choose sync all contacts, if you look in your phone settings under accounts and sync, do you see a facebook acct?

I am not sure. I went back to stock because I didn't have all my contacts. When I was on liberty I did the sync all contacts thing from the facebook app that was on liberty 1.5 and when I went into my contacts I didn't have any facebook friends in there. Are you using liberty with no problems syncing your contacts?
ya i'm on liberty 1.5 with no issues. if you decide to go back you could try exporting all of your contacts to your sd card before you flash it and then after you boot up liberty import them again and your facebook contacts should come with.

really? maybe i'm mistaken but i thought the fb ones came with. either way though if you add the app and choose to sync contacts and then restart the phone it should kick in the sync process. i talked to a guy a while back that said it took a few days for them to sync and in that time he had already complained to vzw and asked for a new phone. then poof there they were.
