Help! Maps is dead!

For some reason, Maps has stopped working. I try to start it up and it errors out saying it unexpectedly terminated. I've tried reboots and battery pulls with no luck. Suggestions?

Does it give you the option to Force Close and Wait or just to Force Close?

Just force close.

I was looking at another forum, seems this is not an uncommon problem, but the only solution I've seen posted is a factory reset :/
