So had phone rooted running on GB and deleted Factory apps. now trying to get new update. gets so far then i get android guy and triangle what not. then turns phone back on and says update fail. So trying to go back to out of the box/ possible GB 2.3.3 (before Root) softwear so that i can just be a normal phone user with out root and get this recent bug fix update.

This is my problem i read all the "official" system resets to get my phone to how it was before root.
i download the files that still work or say they do.
i can get the phone into bootloader mode. but how do i get the file with the all the factory junk to make it onto the phone so that i could go back to before root. im not understanding that part.
i do get how to factory reset by holding X button on keypad to finish it.

So if i just get to X wipe all date and turn on phone im thinking ill have bricked it.

if someone could walk me through step by step and let me know everything that needs to be downloaded in order to do this. i just wanna make my phone like it was never rooted have all the apps back so i can do this new update and just use the phone. ( didnt really find the greatness of having a rooted phone)

Factory reset just deletes user data, not root changed files
You have to sbf try ezSBF 4.5.608
You need to charge phone then restart phone while holding both volume keys to get to bootloader

You were trying to get to stock recovery
X and power then both volume buttons

no stock recovery only deletes user data, not root altered data
you need to sbf,
I would wait till new SBF for update comes out,
