Hello, New cat to the Droid Forum.

Hello all,

I signed up because I am looking to learn more about my Droid X. I am hoping to find a thread that will explain how I can create two different types of profiles:

1. Create a Personal profile - used specifically for when I am at home
2. Create a Work profile - used specifically for when I am at work

Objective would be to have the option(s) on my desktop (Droid home screen) to select what profile I want to use/be in at the time.

I have searched the site but was unable to location anything close to what I am trying to achieve. Possibly the lack of know how.

Any who how, Hello all and any direction would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to the forum! in addition to the Droid Discussions section for all things Droid, we have a separate section, with several subforums, devoted entirely to the DX. take a look around...

as for your question, about the only thing i can come up with is using different launchers. you could use Launcher Pro for your home set up, and ADW (or GO launcher, or one of the others) for work. you can create a backup of each configuration, and when you want to switch, you just "clear default" for one and set the other to be default....
