My wife just bought a Motorola Droid, and its quite amazing. I noticed there was an ad that said Droids were 49.99 after instant discount for new or existing members. So my question is, what in the world is an instant discount? I am a verizon member, and if i can upgrade to a droid for 50 bucks then count me in.

This might be referring to a discount having to do with your job. And there will be a mai-in-rebate also. You will have to pay more than $50 up front, but then mail the rebate...and you will get the money back
