I am about to switch from Eris to the original Moto Droid, and had someone on the (ahem) forum I frequented for my Eris suggest DroidForums.net for a great resource for my new phone. I have read through a number of threads and can say this seems to be a very friendly and helpful site.
Looking forward to all the cool things I will learn in messing around with my rooted Droid that are different than the Eris is!
