Just upgraded to a new Droid from a worn-out, beat-up and, ultimately broken, BB Curve. Love the customizability and the speed. I've already started downloading Apps left and right. No plans to root in the near future. I'll wait till 2.2 comes out to see what changes might be needed.
I work on the MS campus, so I'm still waiting for the lasers to drop from the ceiling and the shark-pit trap doors to open beneath my feet for carrying around a Google-OS device.:greendroid:
