Headphone port connected to car stereo "PROBLEMS"

I connect my headphone port to my car stereo so I can talk hands free. While in a phone call my phone starts playing music and hangs up the call. How do I shut off the music from automatically playing.

Well I always have my phone connected to the AUX port and my music always stops to accept incoming calls but it seems your calls stop and music starts playing? What music player? Are you stock? Rooted? Rom? GB?

Yes I am using my stock music player. I looked for some settings to change it from auto playing but there wasn't any.
