hboot issue

I rooted my htc incredible with unrevoked 3 via instruction here: ROOTING For Dummies - Android Forums
I completed through step two. When I shutdown and rebooted holding the vol and the power button down the phone will only vibrate five times then nothing until battery is removed then it will boot normally. what's up with this?

make sure you aren't holding the volume up while you press power... that takes you to a diagnostic mode

It should be vol down + power to get to Hboot

Thankyou!!! That was the problem. Don't know why it changed tho..before installing unrevoked I had to hold both volume keys down. Oh well at least it works
