I have taken the update. I am rooted and unlocked. I used voodoo to temp unroot before I applied the update. As long as you do that you should be able to keep root. The update seems to make the phone slightly quicker. Other then that not really a whole lot different. Boot loader is still unlocked as well.

Supposedly they integrated a new radio. Reception should be better. If you are not unlocked be very careful about updating if you wanna keep root. Voodoo as mentioned but if it fails for whatever reason you may be out of luck.

Yea there is no guarantee voodoo will work. It worked for me. I forgot to mention to un freeze any bloat if you froze anything before. I used the update that I got from the push ota from Verizon.
