Have to Reboot to Get 3G Back

Not sure if this has been posted before, so OP please remove if necessary.

I have noticed a couple times that my 3G/signal strength drops in areas where I usually have a great signal. If I am in the same location where it drops, a reboot brings it back to full signal with 3G. Anyone seen this?

I'm rooted with Sholes 2.0.6

I get something similar with BB . And other times when I hit multiple installs from Market , 3G will stop working , I can see the signal lines and 3G icon but there is no data communication , I have to reboot the phone to restore the communication .

had this issue before and after rooting. Its rare but happens. I just turn the phone on airplane mode then back to 3g it resets it some how. Works for me.

Have seen this as well, will try to remember the airplane mode switch next time. Thanks for the tip pilotcharles.
