Has anyone used evernote for lectures?

I'm thinking about using evernote for lecture purposes. Both in recording, and note taking. I was wondering if anyone has used it before, and know if it's any good. I've used it before, and liked it, but it was only for quick notes.

Also, do you think I should record stuff on my phone or tablet. I'm leaning towards phones, cause I'm guessing my Bionic would pick stuff up better than my TF300.
