has anyone replaced TB earpiece speaker (out of warranty)??

I bought a used TB last week. The seller said using speakerphone all the way up it could be scratchy, well turns out it's always scratchy, speakerphone or with it to my ear. I'm not the original owner so warranty replacement is really not an option.

So it looks like I have to replace the speaker or sell the darned thing.

Anyone have any experience replacing the earpiece speaker? I've fixed ipods before, so opening up something like this isn't that bad, but want to talk to someone before I make the call to sell it or fix.
