Hard to make a call

I have a single phone number I call regularly. However, to make the call on the Eris is not easy. Right now, I need to use my finger to poke about 6 times to get the number from the contacts. And, I do not want to voice activate the call.

So, is there a way or application that would make the call with minimum finger work? If I were to have the ideal solution, there would be an app on my home page that when I poke at it would make the call.

Try adding a shortcut on a screen to that person's info.

also you can add a shortcut called 'direct dial' that does the trick, place it right on your homescreen and you good to go, also the HTC widget 'People' can do the same thing

There is a script laying around that will do the heavy lifting on that one for you.

I've had 'Easy Dialer' since day 1 due to the exact same issue. It's tied to your phone button and brings the contacts/phone numbers you assigned. I have a half dozen or so names on my Easy Dialer Screen.
