Hard Reset question when rooted

I'm running stock froyo 2.2 rooted with just a few bloatware apps renamed to keep them from bothering me. Lately, my phone has been acting laggy and crashing alot, and quit doing my text message sound, instead it would say "network extender" no matter what file I chose for my text beep. Anyway, I decided to do a hard reset, but I didn't rename all the bloatware back to .apk before I did. Did I get a clean slate to start with? Or do I need to re-activate these things again and do another hard reset? I want to start from scratch so my phone will run good again. dancedroid

Your apps will still not be installed. Really, the only way to get completely clean is to .sbf. It will restore it to right out of the box specs.
