I thought I saw a post here on DF about the latest update to Google Hangouts being able to now make calls, but I can't find it. It apparently uses data rather than voice.
So...has anybody else started using Hangouts to make calls? Can Hangouts be set to be the default dialer? Hmmm...I did try using Hangouts to call out to a phone number and it worked, and the recipient said the call quality was good. I was on 4G at the time, no wifi.
