Handcent/Text sending multiple texts

Does anyone else have this issue with their Handcent sending out MULTIPLE texts to people you sent texts to within the last week?? Mine has resent texts to people several times over the last week and it has done it massively.. It usually happens when I am having trouble with service or something..

i think it's a network issue....my 2 friends Storms, my droid, and my other friend's Env are all sending/receiving multiple texts over the last couple of weeks.

i havent noticed this until 5 mins ago when i got the same msg from my buds bb storm 3 times in a row. probably a network issue.

I agree with it being a network issue. I have been receiving duplicate texts from my wife and brother, both are also on Verizon.

I was having the issue too. I cleared the cache for Handcent. Force Close. Turn off Phone and turn back on. Now only 1 sms at a time.

I think its a provider issue as well. I've always been that annoying guy and someone finally told me about it. Different blackberrys and an Env touch were doing that for months from my account.
