Is there a way to create a group text on the free version of handcent sms or is it only the pay version?

Ok...next to the "To:" box, on the right hand side you will see a "+"...tap that. Check off the contacts you wish to send to, then hit the back key, it will take you back to the text. From there you know what to do, right?

there is no pay version. open a new text message. where you type the phone number click the '+' and it will bring up ur contact list. just ckeck off who u want to send it to and hit the back button... then type text and send

when u press the '+' I come up with contact, group and recent. the groups are from my cell contact list which U can make from your phone contact list

I know i am probably missing something very easy but i can not add to a group. There is a list of groups all with "0" ecept for my contact which say "383"

get out of handcent and go into your contact list for your phone and make a group

Grrrrr...... i get there hit groups then it opens and there is a "+ add members" when i tap that it goes to a black screen that says "no contacts"

I can create a group with a name but can not add any contacts

I feel ya brother. I can not add members to my group in my contacts. I have 4 groups now in the groups menu under contacts with 0 members...I can not figure out how to add people to these groups.

This should be a very simple thing!

I only can add not assigned to a group. How about adding the name and number under phone. Adding to a group then linking it to the gmail or facebook entry...
