Handcent SMS double notification? Gtalk?

Is this me or is it a bug? It notifys me in the address bar and after i read it it still stays there and i have to clear it..

if i set a color logo for the text notifications... it gives me double notification...

??? any idea..

also.... i used to have GTALK.. now i can't find that app on the market.. can i get a link guys? =D

have you disabled notifications from within the stock messaging app?

I get double texts in handcent all the time, and have everything in the stock messaging app disabled. It's quite annoying and I've yet to see a fix for it.
