Handcent SMS deleting msg's

For any of you that have handcent, does yours occasionally delete all your threads of messages? It's happened like 4 or 5 times now to me over the course of about half a year. Is there any way to prevent this?

Go into your stock messaging app and uncheck the box which says "Delete Old Text Messages" and then maybe that should solve your issue.
