handcent help

I have the most current version of handcent and the droid 3. When I go to change the bubble settings and select the background option, no matter what size picture I choose, the picture only fills the center of the preview box and the picture on the actual background itself is stretched and blurry. Is there a different setting that needs to be changed? Or is there a certain sized picture I need?
