hai, i just came from the forum consolecaliber
since they dont have a phone section, i decided to come here
i currently have the motodroid with 2.0.1 and just rooted it a few hours ago :icon_ banana:
also id like to know what are some good things to use on my droid, i only have drocap2 for a rooted app

There's also SweeterHome for a good home-screen replacement. The current fad seems to be overclocking though. Just make sure to backup your phone.

As for programs the only ones I highly recommend right now are xScope and AppOrganizer. Astro file manager is also nice. Oh, and aCar is useful if you want to try vehicle info (gas, mpg expenses ect).
