Hey guys. Pretty new to the scene and working my way around the forum.

Currently have a DROID X2 I bought last weekend..
Which I am probably taking back this weekend. Don't get me wrong, I love the phone, it just seems like the dev community has kind of shunned it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a phone that would be a good replacement?

Welcome to the board!

Not familiar with the ROMs or support for the x2, but it's a good phone in itself.

If you're looking for stronger support of developers I personally have seen it geared more towards the older generation, such as my Inc. No locked bootloader so easier to work with.

Yeah, it's a fine phone, but I would have gotten a newer one..
Bionic, Droid 3, RAZR, or G Nex would be my choices. That's assuming those last 2 phones I mentioned are out within your 14day period.

Like you said it is a great phone I just think people did not move on it since it was not a huge upgrade from the X. As far as what to get for a dev phone it is hard to make a recommendation seeing as how newer phones are just getting started in that area. It might take a bit to tell for sure.
