Phones take months to develop and test. Whoever was making the nexus 3 hasn't changed, but future google developer phone will obviously come from moto.

This is posted over in the news section... not sure it really belongs in the Bionic Forum...

This makes the Bionic a but more attractive to me know. Who do you think will be up first for updates?

That explains why Sanja wasn't at all worried about Bionic. Level 1 launch here we come.

Good point, SK.

On another note, I'm glad Moto didn't announce a press conference to announce this acquisition.... this forum would have exploded with "Bionic Release Is Coming" speculation and then there would have been so much more depression from another false hope.

Everyone is forgetting Motorola Home...which makes set-top boxes! "Supercharged" is right.

I wouldn't buy a motorola phone until the acquisition is complete. I can't see google releasing an update with blur included but at the same time I can't see them throwing away features that "normal" people have become accustomed to. The phones released in the near future could get stuck in limbo.

i'm not sure on this, but that's not part of Moto Mobility, is it?? so, probably won't have an immediate impact. but, acquiring a sister company shouldn't hurt relations/collaboration. thoughts of Google TV just went to a whole 'nuther level!!

Well, whatever the first Google/Moto collaboration phone is - I'm thinking summer or xmas '12 - I'm all over it. Right now it's probably Bionic, maybe SGS2. Excited!
