is there such a thing ? need to pick the contacts quick & send an sms to them ..

Not sure what messenger you use but with handcent you just press the + on the right side of the screen when you compose your message and your contact list comes up. Check the boxes of the contacts you want to.

i use the fones' sms, no additional apps ... so a group cannot be created....

You might want to consider using an app like chomp or handcent since you can customize a lot more than the native messenging app.

Speaking of Handcent... is it possible to send an MMS with more than one attachement?

I want to send an image and a sound in one message but I can't figure out how to add a second attachment.

Any help is appreciated.

too bad i have to load the fone with apps to do things my blackberry was able to do natively ....

... in the meantime i relied on facebook to get the news out ...
