Just got a Droid, my first foray into the world of smartphones. My wife got a Blackberry Storm 2, but I liked the way the Android OS worked, so here goes!

The only thing I don't get is how to synch up my Yahoo email account so it shows up as a full-fledged email app on the Droid. I have it working by going through the browser, is that all you get?

Welcome to the forums!!! All here are very helpful. Do a search on Yahoo mail and you will find your answer as far as the correct way to set it up. There is a thread just for yahoo mail.

You will be suprisingly happy with the droid. No comparison whatsoever to the storm also there is no end to customization with the droid.
