Greeting fellow Droids

First of all, I am a convert from the Windows Mobile platform. When I saw the new Phone 7, I saw it as basically a big step up from where they were, but still comes nowhere close to the Android platform. That is too bad, as Microsoft was light years ahead of eveyone else several years ago, but they just slept on it.

And I am not a MS fanboy, and always have to have the best... So here I am, with my shiny new Droid X in hand.

Now, that said, I am not exactly a newbie when it comes to Android. I have worked with them for a little over a year, did some development etc. But the Droid X is my first personal device.

In closing: This is one #%@## sweet piece of hardware!

grew up north of GI, went to UNL. spent a lot of time in the 'Ha - 18th Amendment, Paddy Murphy's, Barrett's Barleycorn, Ranch Bowl, etc - i can even remember some of it!

Yes even after last saturday. I am not one to jump on an off the band wagon. I actually have two college football teams that I love and support. My other team has actually done worse of late and that is ............ Michigan. But I have to admit the Alabama loss hurt more. They just did not have their heads in the game. My husband spent the whole weekend totally ticked off after that game.

Yeah that is why I am torn between the two. Its funny my avatar here is Big Al and the Alabama A but on google my avatar is the Michigan M logo. I was born in Michigan and followed them during the Bo Schembeckler days and then loved Lloyd Carr. But I went to the University of Alabama so I have loyalties there too. Its rumored that the opening game of the 2012 season will be Alabama v. Michigan. I of course will be going no matter where it is played my problem will be choosing who to root for and what colors to wear. Hubby of course grew up in Alabama so he will be decked out in Crimson........

I am used to that. After living in NE for a few years now, I have learned that anytime you mention the word 'Husker' the topic, however import it was, is permanently changed to Husker...

NORAD: We have an incoming nuke, this is not a drill. Did you say Husker? Man, that game Saturday was EXCELLENT!!! Did you see that pass by...Boom.
