When I receive a call, this green character is displayed. I would rather have a "theme" that was more discrete.

Yes, that's what it is. I haven't seen a theme that doesn't display the contact photo - you could always add a blank square as the photo for all your contacts, that would get rid of the robot. Easier to do from your google account on a pc than on the phone.

I have never seen the droid, after I set my Droid X up I have always seen my FB, Myspace, Twitter or just a gray person. How do I get the droid as the caller id for those I have no pic of.
