Does leaving the gps on still drain the battery or has that issue been resolved. I dont use it all the time but some of the apps I use need gps to be accurate and its a pain to turn it on and remember to turn it back off. I would like to just leave it on.

In my experience yes it does drain the battery... but it really depends on some of your apps too. I have one app that checks the location via GPS every few minutes even when I'm not using the app. If I reboot and don't open that app then GPS doesn't use near as much.

I think there are more apps out there that don't care about your battery and use GPS even when they don't need to. Many of the weather apps and widgets use GPS.

The use of GPS sucks your battery down pretty quick.
