GPS ISSUE

Since the Lollipop update I have noticed that when using sports apps, like RunKeeper, my GPS is radically wrong. On a hike that should reflect 4 miles it will say I have done 7, 8 even 10 miles. Not that I mind thinking I did that, I know the actual distance and want it right. I have loaded other like apps and it is an issue with them all so I have narrowed it down to the phone itself, not the apps. This happens here in town and also on remote trails in the park. (I live in the Smoky's) Same result. I have Googled it and really have not found any solutions. Any thoughts?

I suggest installing 2 apps I have used to check the workings of the GPS.

GPSfix and GPS Status
