GPS - how to remove annoying labels?

Sorry for the double posts, mods. But I was using my GPS to find a location earlier, and I happened to want to get a street view of my destination. When I got back to the map view, I couldn't even see the damn flag. It was covered by the label. I had to pull over, clear the map, re-enter the destination address, and then continue, ALL just to get rid of the label that had the destination address. Is there a better way to do this when driving? They need a "hide labels" button

Well, Google Nav is still beta... For me, whenever I need the "bubble" to disappear, I just tap on an area of the map that's away from it and it goes away... But like I said, it's still in Beta, so it's not entirely surprising that you may be having issues...

oh ok. I need to try that. thanks and true, its under beta, thought they might have been another way around that
