GPS freezing phone

Been having a problem lately when I try to run my navigation app it freezes up my phone and then restarts.

Any suggestions? I'm usually not doing too much else when this happens and it happens the first time I use it after a while of not using it.

Me too, while using Google Navigation in GB. And I have done a factory reset after GB.
The app seemed OK under Froyo.
I started using Bing to see if the problem is with GPS or in the Google Navigation app.
