If you thought VR was a gimmick and Google was moving on.....not so fast my friend (in the Lee Corso voice).
Google just introduced the next generation in VR, Jump (as it is called) will provide producers with a 360 camera that will record in 4K, powered by the YI HALO 360 Camera. Content creators will have the tools to film some high quality content for VR. Created by YI, the YI HALO camera will be put in more content producers hands with the Jump Start program.
This partnership with YI and Google will hopefully bring more quality content to VR headsets.
Content producers will be able to sign up for the device through Google's Jump Start program (Google Jump Start).
