I have a quick question.
I was planning on making a lot of phone calls this month and instead of racking up airtime charges I thought it would be a good idea to install Google Voice. I guess I misread what Google Voice is because I mistook it as a VOIP service. I knew porting my number to GV would incur airtime but I didn't know that making outgoing calls also incurred airtime. I thought it used my data service.
Anyway...
1. Am I correct, GV is not a VoIP service and it is correct that VZW charged me for all the outgoing calls with Google Voice?
2. Do you know of any good VoIP apps?
