google to update location

Google , used to update, to my present locale, now won't. Checked settings all ok and google maps is ok. What am I missing?

What exactly is it doing? Is it not even attempting to locate you or is it just off?

What settings have you checked? What are your settings for Settings->Location & Security?

google won't update location

Have pulled battery. Then worked but also had Wi-Fi enabled. Have had GPS turned since day 1. Went out of town with Wi-Fi off nd no location even with Google maps. Enabled Wi-Fi now it works. Seems like GPS is using Wi-Fi not sattelite

Called Verizon wireless again turns out weatherbug was conflicting b/c auto update location.was on. Turned off auto update and follow me feature all OK now. GPS indicator is not flashing anymore either. That should've been my first clue. Thanks. Hope this helps someone else too.
